Stilvi Accommodation

I met Santorini when I was still a student… something enchanted me with this place and so I returned every summer to “my island” to enjoy the summer holidays. I fell in love with Santorini because it is not just an island. Apart from its unique and authentic beauty, the serenity and happiness I felt every time I visited this island was overwhelming and made me feel like home. It was and still is a soul therapy. 

I decided not to ignore my feelings and bought a cave which had been destroyed from the 1956 earthquake in the village of Firostefani. In one of the most picturesque neighborhoods of Santorini, under the ruins I found a cave house which a few years later I turned it into a guest house. Since then, I have been sharing my dream with the world… a dream that was painted white and under the light of the Cycladic sunset took the name Stilvi… which means sparkle in greek language.

Everything! Tastefully decorated house that forms a cave, where every little detail counts! Location near Fira and Oia, daily cleaning, comfy bed, beautiful terrace with pool and stunning views over the Caldera. Unforgettable sunsets!! Georgia, the owner, is the perfect host. Nice and polite, she speaks perfect English, provided us with a mobile phone for direct contact during our stay and helped us with organising transfers from/to port. She also welcome us with a bottle of Greek white wine which was a lovely detail!

Me and my Partner got married in Santorini and this villa really topped things off. The views from the villa are amazing and the pool overlooking the sunsent was unbelievable.

We love Stilvi Suite very much! It has the best view of Caldera, volcanic island and Santorini sunset. Best location at Firostefani which is only about 6mins walk to Fira town and 3mins walk to bus stop heading to Oia. Convenient and not too crowded like Fira; surrounded with lots of nice restaurants and shops. We love one of the authentic Greek restaurant nearby - Aktaion, reasonable priced and awesome foods. Very near to Three Bells of Fira. The suite itself is wonderful! It is a huge cave home! You feel cooling during day time when it is hot sun outside; warm and comfortable at night.
